DICES Administrator Assembly
July 26, 2023
Last 24th of July, the School Administrators of different offices of the Diocese of Imus Catholic Education System member schools had their first assembly for A.Y. 2023-2024, at the school auditorium of St. Michael’s Institute of Bacoor, Inc.
With the theme “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts forms one body, so it is with Christ”-Corinthians 12:12, the assembly started with a liturgy, followed by the roll call of attendees by the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, Mr. Bryan V. Esguerra. Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo, the DICES Superintendent, had a Dialogue with the school administrators and expounded the 15 characteristics of school administrative council model. Fr. Alain shared that this model is born from his personal experiences as a school director at De Guia Academy of Magallanes and pointed out that its foundation is the theory of collaborative and shared leadership.
After the fruitful talk, attendees were divided into smaller groups to share their reflections and experiences on being part of the administrative council. Fr. Alain also processed the reflections and answers to each question.
All in all, it can be said that the Administrators have finally grasped their role and responsibilities as part of the Schools Administrative Council and are molded to provide a better service and be committed to excellence in Catholic education.
